Cocktail – The Me of You

They says – A good love is one that casts you into the wind, sets you ablaze, makes you burn through the skies and ignite the night like a phoenix; the kind that cuts you loose like a wildfire and you can’t stop running simply because you keep on burning everything that you touch!

I say that’s a good love; one that burns and flies, and you run with it! Doesn’t matter how it end or began, doesn’t matter you felt pain or joy, what matters most is you were lucky to experience it!

Cocktail – The Me of You

My heart and the soul in disguise
When you look close, it intensifies.
God’s great gift that came to remain;
You are the blood that runs in my vein.

You light up my life every time you call.
When the time was up, I began to fall.
How long I sought with wearied eyes!
Our time spinning below different skies !
Of all the doubt you’ve put me through;
I felt very hard to break through.
Cocktail of love mixed with heart-wrenching pain,
Like you bound me in an iron chain.

I felt lonely in anger, scare and pain,
Falling for other was how I freed again!!
Soon my heart and the soul strife through,
Never will there be an end of you!

You returned home, flung by selfish self
Stumble over words, our silence spoke for itself.
In all those burdened guilt and pain;
We looked into each other to explain.

“I’m content to live it all again,
for we never loved in vain”.
My spirit pierced your words through!
Tearing wound, all of those old and new!

I’d have lived my whole life through;
Lost forever If I never knew you.
Such is my debt I may not say forgive,
But as I can, I’ll pay it while I live.
